Constable shot at in Muzaffarnagar

A constable was shot at by unidentified persons when he was patrolling in Jansath town of the district here, police said.

The constable identified as Ashok Kumar was shot at by unidentified persons here last night, Deputy SP Mahesh Mishra told PTI.

He was rushed to a hospital in Meerut and his condition was stated to be critical, he said adding, 15 people have been taken into custody for interrogation.
