Das said that just like a strong fort gets repaired the Constitution too gets strong through the enshrined rights, adding the people want speedy development and for that the process reforms, an official release said quoting Das.
Speaking on the occasion of Constitution Day here, Das said B R Ambedkar had said that "we got political freedom, but social and economic freedom have not been achieved".
"We have to fulfill the dreams of Baba Saheb Ambedkar," Das said, adding then only social imbalance could be eradicated.
Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) N N Pandey, Development Commissioner Amit Khare were among the officials present on the occasion.
