Construction worker from Assam found dead

A 30-year-old construction worker from Assam was found dead with his throat slit at a village in Malappuram today, police said.

On a complaint from the villagers police recovered the body of Uppu Burman from his rented house at Munduparambu.

Further investigations are on to find out the reason behind the murder, they said.
