Container Corporation of India Ltd today posted 36.5 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 243 crore for the quarter ended June.
The company had posted net profit after tax (after exceptional and/or extraordinary items) of Rs 178 crore in the year-ago period, Container Corporation Of India said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income from operations increased to Rs 1,456.8 crore, over Rs 1,325 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, the filing said.
