Contract worker falls into boiler

A contract worker hailing from Odisha today died after he accidentally fell into a boiler of a private factory at Uthamasolapuram in the district, police said.

The other workers took him to the government hospital here but he succumbed to injuries, police said.

The deceased Vinoth Maliq (25) was part of a group of 33 contract labourers, all from Odisha, working at the factory, sources added.
