Six persons were detained by the police today in connection with the killing of a Railway Contractor Vijay Kumar Pandey late last night, a senior police officer said.
"We have detained around six persons in connection with the killing of Pandey and interrogating them", Superintendent of Police (City), Chandan Kumar Jha said.
The 52-year-old Pandey was shot dead by unidentified assailants near a private school under Burmamines police station when he was on his home in Laxminagar on a two-wheeler late last night.
