Cop booked for raping girl at gunpoint

An FIR was registered against a cop for allegedly raping a girl at gunpoint and blackmailing her in the same police station where he was posted.

Brijesh had allegedly raped the girl at gunpoint 18 months back in his official quarters located inside the premises of the civil lines police station where he still resides.

The matter came to light last night when the girl approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Nitin Tiwari, who ordered that a case to be registered against Yadav in the civil lines police station.

Police said the accused was absconding.
