Cop found dead in Baramulla

A policeman, who went missing on January 20, was found dead in a field in Baramulla district of Kashmir today.

The body of 57-year-old Head Constable Abdul Rashid Hakim was found in Zeerwan area, police said.

Hakim, posted as a guard commander at a minority community village in the area, had gone missing on January 20, they said.

Hakim's family had loged a missing report on January 23, police said.

The body, which did not bear any bullet marks, was sent for post mortem, they said.
