Copper prices fell by 0.34% to Rs 380.85 per kg in futures trade today on offloading of positions by speculators amid weak global cues and subdued domestic demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February eased by Rs 1.30, or 0.34%, to Rs 380.85 per kg in a business turnover of 1,263 lots.
The metal for delivery in April fell by Rs 1.20, or 0.31%, to Rs 384.90 per kg in a volume of 23 lots.

Globally, copper for delivery in three months was flat at $6,090 per tonne on the London Metal Exchange, while in Shanghai, it slid 0.2% to 44,170 yuan ($7,126) per tonne.
