Supported by rising demand from consuming industries at the domestic market, copper prices rose further by 0.11 per cent to Rs 406.55 per kg in futures trade today.
In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February was trading 45 paise, or 0.11 per cent higher, at Rs 406.55 per kg, in a business turnover of 413 lots.
Metal for delivery in April edged higher by 40 paise, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 409.15 per kg, in a business volume of 8 lots.
Analysts said increased demand from consuming industries at the physical market, mainly influenced copper prices at futures trade.
