Prices of copper and nickel edged up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market on Monday on the back of mild demand from consuming industries.
Traders said some demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, mainly attributed the rise in prices.
However, activity remained restricted as enquiries from neighbouring states remained negligible due to 'Bharat Bandh' call given by the Congress party and several other parties against rising fuel prices, they added.
