Copper, tin and nickel rebound on renewed demand

Copper, tin and nickel prices rebounded at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockists' buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.

Elsewhere, brass sheet cuttings gained further owing to good demand from consuming industries.

Nickel prices climbed by Rs 25 per kg to Rs 975 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 950 and tin went-up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,430 as against Rs 1,425.

Copper sheet cuttings rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 445 as compared Rs 441 yesterday.

Copper scrap heavy and copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 451 and Rs 423 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 448 and Rs 420.

 

Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper billets edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 455, Rs 446 and Rs 483 as against Rs 453, Rs 444 and Rs 481.

Brass sheet cuttings inched up per kg to Rs 353.
