Copper, tin gain on good demand

Copper, tin and nickel gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists' buying amidst good demand from industrial users.

Zinc and lead slipped owing to reduced demand from consuming industries.

Nickel climbed by Rs 25 per kg to Rs 910 from its Wednesday's closing level of Rs 885 and tin rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,430 as against Rs 1,425 previously.

Copper scrap heavy utensils inched up by Rs 1 per kg to Rs 443 as against Rs 442.

Meanwhile, zinc and lead prices softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 237 and Rs 169, respectively.
