Copra prices rallied further at the spices market here today on consistent demand from stockists and millers as well as good offtake by upcountry buyers and exporters.
Growing concerns over drop in production supported by robust demand from consuming industries mainly led to a sharp spurt in copra prices, a trader said.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger and copra Rajapur closed at their overnight levels in the absence of necessary buying support.

Copra edible Mumbai jumped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,500 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 9,300.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode both rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,800 and 8,700 as compared to Rs 8,700 and Rs 8,600 previously.
