Copra prices slumped at the spices market here today due to heavy unwinding from stockists and retailers amidst ample arrivals.
Meanwhile, black pepper and ginger ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra Rajapur plunged by Rs 1,500 per quintal to Rs 15,500 from Monday's closing level of Rs 17,000.
Copra office Alapuzha dipped by Rs 700 per quintal to Rs 10,300 from Rs 11,000.
Copra edible dropped by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 13,000 as against Rs 13,500 yesterday.
Copra office Kozhikode slipped by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 10,200 as compared to Rs 10,500 previously.
