Coriander and jeera prices went up by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies.
Coriander prices went up by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 12,100-17,100 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 16,300-16,800 and Rs 20,300-20,800 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs):
Ajwain (per kg) 150-190, black pepper (per kg) 680-845, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,400-1,450 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,750-1,800.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 780-830, cardamom (colour robin) 760-790, cardamom bold 780-800, cardamom extra (bold) 900-950 and cloves 690-790.
