Coriander and jeera prices went up by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies.
Coriander prices went up by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 12,100-17,100 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 16,300-16,800 and Rs 20,300-20,800 per quintal.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from producing regions mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices at the wholesale kirana market here.

Ajwain (per kg) 150-190, black pepper (per kg) 680-845, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,400-1,450 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,750-1,800.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 780-830, cardamom (colour robin) 760-790, cardamom bold 780-800, cardamom extra (bold) 900-950 and cloves 690-790.
