Coriander and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital Friday on the back of increased offtake by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Further, fall in supplies from producing regions and firming trend in futures market also supported the upside.
Coriander and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 6,000-12,200 and Rs 7,700-10,600 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing regions, mainly pushed up coriander and turmeric prices.
