Fertiliser producer Coromandel International today posted a 3.56 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 173.47 crore during the second quarter ended September 30, 2105.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 179.89 crore in the same quarter last year, it said in a BSE filing.
Consolidated net income rose marginally to Rs 3,564.42 crore in the July-September period of the 2015-16 fiscal, against Rs 3,466 crore in the year-ago period.

Total expenses rose to Rs 3,278.94 crore from Rs 3,145.79 crore in the said period.
Coromandel, a part of the Rs 269 billion Murugappa Group, is engaged in manufacturing fertilisers, specialty nutrients, crop protection and retail.
The company is the country's second largest Phosphatic fertiliser player.
