Corporator kills wife

An independent corporator

allegedly shot dead his wife over marital discord in Nakkhasa area here, police said today.

Gulzar, a corporator of Deep Sarai ward, arrived at his in-laws' house last night to meet his wife Bobby (30), who was living with her father following a tiff with the accused, and later shot her dead, they said.

An FIR has been lodged against Gulzar who is absconding, police said, adding the body has been sent for post mortem.
