Country bombs explode in village

Two country bombs exploded in front of a house in nearby coastal hamlet Koothanguli today, police said.

No one was injured in the incident, police said adding investigations were on to ascertain as to how the bombs exploded.

Fishermen of the region often use country bombs to catch fish and also during clashes to settle scores between rival groups.
