A woman and her lover allegedly attempted suicide by jumping from a hill in the district.
The couple identified as Vinita Lohiya from Mumbai and Manohar Saini, who hails from the district, jumped off Shakambhari hills to commit suicide yesterday, police said.
However, they survived and were admitted to a hospital after a local informed police about the incident.
Saini worked as a driver at Lohiya's house in Maharastra where they developed a relationship, police said, adding, the rerason behind the suicide attempt has not been ascertained yet and the matter was being probed.
