Couple commits suicide over family dispute in UP

A couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over 'marital discord' at Bibipur village in this district, police said today.

The woman, Serlekha (23), consumed poison after a heated argument with her husband yesterday. She was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead, they said.

Later her husband Gandhi (24) also committed suicide by consuming poison, police said, adding family dispute was behind the suicides.
