Couple found murdered in UP

A 55-year-old man and his wife were found murdered with their throats slit at Bukhara turn in Cantt police station area, police said today.

The victims, identified as Mohanlal Kashyap and his wife Somvati Devi (50), were yesterday returning from their agriculture field when they were killed, they said, adding that their bodies were recovered late in the night.

A named FIR has been lodged against their son-in-law and his associates on the basis of a complaint by the couple's elder son and investigations were underway, they added.
