Couple killed in lightning

A middle-aged couple died when lightning struck them in Odisha's Balasore district today, police said.

They died on the spot as lightning struck them while they were returning from fishing.

The dead were identified as Suni Bera (60) and his wife Sandhyarani Bera (55) of Kirtania village, the police added.
