Court approached for lodging case against Anna

A local lawyer today moved an application before a court here for lodging a case against social activist Anna Hazare for what he alleged showing disrespect to the tricolour during his visit here on July 29.

Himanshu Srivastava moved an application before Chief Judicial Magistrate Narendra Bahadur for registering a case against Hazare.

In the application, he alleged during Hazare's visit for his "Jantatra Yatra" last month, the flag on the vehicle, used by him, had violated rules laid down for it.

The CJM had sought a report from police in this regard by August seven.

A team of local lawyers also met the Superintendent of Police here on Saturday and demanded lodging of a case against Hazare.
