A local court today convicted two persons in connection with a murder commited in September 2009 in Govindpur area of East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.
Additional District Judge II, N K Sinha convicted Gaurav Singh under section 302 IPC while acquitting two others in connection with the killing of one Manoj Singh over personal enmity.
The court also convicted Ramendra Pratap under section 323 IPC as the murderer's accomplice.
The two acquitted were Devendra Pratap and Krishna Pratap.
The quantum of punishment will be pronounced on June 30.
The four persons - Singh, Ramendra, Devendra and Krishna - were initially named in the FIR in connection with the murder of Manoj.
