Cousins killed in mishap

Two cousins were killed when their bike collided head on with a car near Sangatpura village near Baghapurana, police said today.

Sukhdev Singh and Kuldeep Singh, residents of Jaisingh Wala of Baghapurana, were returning from Gumti Kalan village of Bathinda district yesterday when the accident took place, police said.

Sukhdev Singh died on the spot while cousin Kuldeep succumbed to injuries on the way to a local hospital.

The car driver fled after the accident, police said.
