Cox & Kings shares down over 3 pc post Q2 results

Shares of tour and travel firm Cox & Kings today fell by over 3 per cent today after the company reported a decline of 76.63 per cent in consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.

The stock slipped 3.26 per cent to settle at Rs 163.25 on BSE. Intra-day, it dived 5.71 per cent to Rs 159.10.

On NSE, shares of the company went down by 2.77 per cent to end at Rs 163.

Cox & Kings today reported a decline of 76.63 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 27.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
 

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 116.91 crore in the July-September period a year-ago, Cox & Kings said in a BSE filing.

Total income from operations on consolidated basis was up 11.73 per cent at Rs 2,565.23 crore as against Rs 2,295.89 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
