Cricket betting racket busted in Jaipur, 3 arrested

With the arrest of three persons, police today busted a cricket betting racket here during the South Africa and West Indies match.

The police team recovered Rs 19,000 cash, a TV monitor and other materials such as slips and contact details of customers from the possession of the accused from a house in Ramganj area, a police spokesperson said.

The accused, identified as Teekam Chand, Om Prakash and Rakesh Sharma, are being interrogated to know the whereabouts of their accomplices, he added.
