Cricket coach dies in mishap

A cricket coach died while his wife sustained serious injuries when their car collided head-on with a Punjab roadways bus near Matwani village on the Moga-Ludhiana road today, police said.

Harvinder Singh, 28, cricket coach in Mohali died on the spot while his wife Parminder Kaur was injured seriously in the mishap, police said.

The deceased cricket coach along with his wife were on way to native Chander village when the mishap took place.

The driver fled away from the spot leaving the bus, police said.
