CRPF jawan's rifle snatched

The service weapon of a CRPF jawan was allegedly snatched by suspected militants today in Tral township of Pulwama district, 35km from here, police said.

Unidentified militants overpowered a CRPF jawan from the 185th battalion and took away his INSAS rifle at the Tral bus stand, a police spokesman said.

He said a case had been registered and a massive hunt launched to nab the militants.
