CRPF jawan shoots himself dead

A CRPF jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in Bada Asthi camp in Jharkhand, a senior official said.

Pawan Kumar, a resident of Nagaland, shot himself dead due to personal problems last night, CRPF Commandant Dharmendra Singh Bisen said.

He said Kumar was not on duty when the incident happened.

Kumar had spoken 100 times with his family members over phone during the last one week and committed suicide due to personal reasons, he said.
