CRPF jawan shoots self, injured

Anuj Kumar, a native of Bulandshahr, was rushed to a nearby government hospital in Chakia with injury in his ear and was later declared out of danger, SP Krishna Mohan said.

His family members said he was going through depression and had some altercation with his wife. He had applied for leave, but it was turned down and this might have forced him attempt suicide, they said.
