CRPF officer, jawan injured in IED blast in Chhattisgarh

A CRPF officer and a jawan were today injured in an IED blast in Naxal-hit Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh.
The incident occurred early today when a team of Central Reserve Police Forces' 111th battalion was out on an operational task in the jungles of Aranpur village when the improvised explosive device went off, officials said.
The injured have been identified as Assistant Commandant Aman Kumar and constable Rakesh, they said.
The two were later evacuated by air and admitted to a hospital in the state capital, they said.
