Prices for delivery in January eased by Rs 5.10, or 1.10%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices fell 1.15% to Rs 461.50 per kg in futures trade today, tracking a weak trend in domestic as well as overseas markets.

Crude palm oil for delivery in February shed Rs 5.40, or 1.15%, to Rs 461.50 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. It clocked a business volume of 212 lots.

The prices for delivery in January eased by Rs 5.10, or 1.10%, to Rs 456.60 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of 246 lots.

Traders said offloading of positions by participants due to a weak trend at spot markets following comfortable stocks position, mainly led to a fall in crude palm oil futures prices.
