CSE index falls 96.75 points over the week

The CSE-40 index closed at 6778.75 points after opening at 6875.50 points.

IT major Infosys Technologies lost Rs 53.20 and closed at Rs 2272.30.

Reliance Industries gained Rs 18 after opening at Rs 824.10.

State Bank of India gained Rs 8.85. The scrip closed at Rs 2319.10 after opening at Rs 2310.25.

Tata Steel lost Rs six and closed at Rs 393.

Larsen and Toubro lost Rs 17.50 and closed at Rs 1629.50.
