D S Mishra to hold additional charge of DDA Vice Chairman

Senior IAS officer Durga Shanker Mishra was today given additional charge of Vice-Chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Mishra, a 1984 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, is presently Additional Secretary in Urban Development Ministry.

He has been given additional charge for a period of three months, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.

The post had fallen vacant following the transfer of Balvinder Kumar as Mines Secretary. Kumar took over the new responsibility on July 1.
