Darkwing Duck, the mysterious mallard superhero, is headed to Duckburg on Disney XD's upcoming revival of DuckTales.
The creators of the series reboot broke the news when they debuted a reel of sneak peek footage during the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The appearance was confirmed by a brief sighting of Darkwing Duck concept art.
Darkwing's motorcycle, the Ratcatcher, and his rat nemesis, Megavolt, were also spotted during the sneak peek.
Darkwing Duck was originally developed in 1991 as a spin-off from DuckTales.
