'Deadpool' villain Ed Skrein joins 'Hellboy' reboot

Actor Ed Skrein, who played the villain in "Deadpool", has come on board Neil Marshall's "Hellboy" reboot.

Skrein will play Major Ben Daimio, a rugged military member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Stranger Things" star David Harbour is headlining the project as the demonic hero from the Mike Mignola comic books.

The film, also featuring Ian McShane and Milla Jovovich, is expected to go on floors in September in the UK and Bulgaria.
