Deaf-mute girl gangraped in MP

A deaf and mute minor girl was allegedly gangraped by three youths near here, police said today.

The victim had gone to attend a marriage function in Motaumar village of the district when the three accused abducted her on a motorcycle on June 13 and took her to an isolated place and gangraped her, Aambua police station in-charge, S K Solanki told reporters.

The girl somehow managed to escape from the place last evening and later filed an FIR at the Aambua police station.

All the accused are absconding and efforts are on to nab them, he added.
