The second death anniversary of Arjun Singh, former Union Minister and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, was observed at his ancestral village Churhat in Sidhi district and in the state capital as 'Manav Seva Diwas'.
A mega-health-camp was organised on the occasion by Manav Seva Samiti at Churhat where over 15,000 persons were examined by doctors.
"Serving humanity was the top priority of Dau Arjun Singh and therefore we organised this mega-health-camp to pay rich tributes to him," Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Ajay Singh said.
Congressmen also observed the death anniversary at the party office here with state unit President Kantilal Bhuria and Media Committee Chairman, Manak Agrawal paying rich tributes to Singh.
