Debt ridden farmer commits suicide

A debt ridden farmer allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train near here, police said today.

Body of Veerpal (43), who was missing for the past two days, was found on the railway track this morning, they said.

According to his wife, Veerpal was depressed as he was unable to pay back the Rs one lakh loan he had taken from a bank.

Police is probing the matter.
