A highly decomposed body,
suspected to be of a woman, was found from a field in Narela area of Outer Delhi here this evening, police said.
"The body, which seems to be of a women in her 30's, was found in a field in Narela. The body is highly decomposed state," a police official said.
It seems that the body must have been lying there since last couple of days and came into notice only after it started emanating foul smell due to decomposition, he said, adding it could not be identified immediately.
We have sent the body for autopsy which would reveal the cause and time of death.
Police stations of nearby area have been informed for missing persons identification.
Further investigations are on, the official said.
