In the wake of Chief Minister O Paneerselvam submitting his resignation, it would be better for Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao to facilitate convening Assembly session to carry out trial of strength, Dravida Kazhakam General secretary K Veeramani said today.
With claims and counter claims by rival groups in AIADMK, the political situation in the state was totally getting confused and the governor should not delay his decision, Veeramani told reporters here
Rao should also order an independent inquiry into the claims by Paneerselvam that he was forced to tender his resignation, he said.
