Delhi BJP chief asks mayors to ensure no sealing or demolition on verbal orders

The mayors of three BJP ruled municipal corporations have been asked by the party's unit to ensure that no sealing or demolition action is taken without written orders.

The municipal staff need to make sure that a proper show cause notice is served in advance to people, as mandatory under Municipal Act, 1957, before taking any penal, said a BJP statement.
