Delhi BJP workers staged a protest near Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence today over several issues, including the alleged crisis of water and electricity supply in the city.

The protesters, including Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, were stopped by the police while they were marching towards Kejriwal's official residence in Civil Lines.

They were detained and released subsequently, the police said.

Tiwari accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the national capital of being "insensitive" towards the problems being faced by the people due to the alleged water and power-supply crisis.

"The Delhi government is insensitive towards the problems of the people. Chief Minister Kejriwal himself has become a big problem for Delhi," he said.

The people of Delhi were "completely disappointed" with the Kejriwal government as it had "failed" to provide water, power, health and transport services, Tiwari charged.
