An alleged snatcher has been arrested by Delhi police and a purse containing money and a stolen motorbike was recovered from him.
The accused has been identified as Sonu Kumar of Jagatpuri, a senior police official said today.
On April 12, a PCR call was received regarding snatching of a woman's purse by motorcyclists near Pragati Maidan while she was travelling in an auto, the official said.
Policemen rushed to the spot and caught the accused with the help of locals, he added.
Investigation revealed that the motorcycle used in the crime was stolen from Farsh Bazar and an FIR in this regard was filed on April 10.
