Delhi woman commits suicide

A 26-year-old married woman today allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Vijay Nagar area of the district.

Jyoti was a resident of Usman Pur area of Delhi and her husband, Raj Kumar, had passed away four years ago, SHO of Vijay Nagar police station Arun Singh said.

After her husband's death, Jyoti started living with her colleague, Yogesh, in Rahul Vihar area, the police officer said.

Last night, Yogesh returned home with his friends and had some argument with Jyoti.

Later, at about 2:30 AM today, Yogesh saw Jyoti's body hanging from the ceiling in another room and informed the police, he said.
 

She has left behind three sons and a daughter.
