The India International Trade Fair (IITF), which began here today, has 18 ATM kiosks set up by different banks this time to alleviate cash shortage faced by visitors after government's move to scrap higher denomination notes.
The decision to set up more ATMs was taken on November 9, a day after government's move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes by withdrawing their status of legal tender, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) CMD L C Goyal told PTI.
The ITPO is the organiser of the mega trade fair, being held here from November 14-27.
