Demonetised notes being accepted in TSRTC: Telangana minister

The demonetised currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 are being accepted in Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), state Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy said today.

He asked the divisional managers of TSRTC to make arrangements to cope with the problem of change, a state government release said here.

Reddy, who held a meeting with officials on the transport arrangements for the Group-II exam being conducted by the state public service commission, said the corporation would run 3,000 additional buses for the convenience of passengers.
